Choose Folsom is the brand name of the organization that includes the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, and Visit Folsom tourism. Together, we strengthen Folsom’s economy, elevate quality of life, and promote the community as an exceptional place to live, work, and play.

No. Choose Folsom is a private, nonprofit organization—not a government agency. We do not manage city services, utilities, public safety, or regulatory decisions. Instead, we collaborate closely with the city and regional partners to support business success, community vitality, and tourism.

Combining the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, and Tourism under one organization ensures alignment around a single mission: supporting Folsom’s economic and cultural prosperity. It also makes it easier for businesses, residents, investors, and visitors to engage with us.
